1. Watch the Vail America Days Parade

The Vail America Days Parade is the centerpiece of the holiday and easily one of the best Fourth of July events in Colorado. Beginning at 10:00 AM, colorful floats, marching bands, performers, and local businesses wind their way from Golden Peak through Vail Village before finishing in Lionshead around noon.

This year is especially meaningful as America celebrates its 250th birthday, Colorado marks its 150th anniversary, and the Town of Vail turns 60 years old. Expect bigger crowds and an even more festive atmosphere than usual.
